Sub-Regional Groups

The Western Hemisphere Region also has groups of Member Organizations that work together to share resources, discuss common challenges and offer opportunities. These sub-groups are:
  • The Caribbean Link of Guiding created in 1958 and includes all islands/countries within the area defined as the Caribbean
  • The Central American Gathering created in 1982 and includes the geographical area of Central America and some neighbouring countries 
  • Associations in South America have established informal links amongst themselves
