Central American Gathering for leaders- Day 4
The fourth day of the Central American gathering started with a workshop on National and International Projection of WAGGGS’ successful volunteers, which served the purpose of recognizing the empowerment of women from the Association toward their communities.
Later, there was a workshop on effective leadership presented by Gelsys Moscoso, International Commissioner for Panama, which was very valuable for participants, since they were able to strengthen leadership techniques they already possessed, as well as discover new ones that will help them both in Guiding and in everyday life.
In addition, Roxana Castrellón, President of PREALC and of the Organization of Private Panamanian Schools, acted as moderator of the panel discussion “Improve the Quality of Life of Girls and Young Women in Your Country,” where rangers from several delegations lectured on the reality in their corresponding countries and the opportunities that they believe could be taken advantage of to change this situation.
