Day 1
We have been waiting anxiously for this event for months. Our plans, activities and materials are ready. The only thing missing are the participants. The first ones arrived shortly after I did. My six hour flight paled in comparison with their 13 hour bus ride.The rest of the participants arrived to Our Cabaña during the day and I could hear them saying: “Hi I’m XXX, from YYY” – the start of friendships to come!
By dinnertime, the dining hall at Our Cabana had taken on an international flavor, as 70 participants from 21 countries are already there. We are about to go to the opening ceremonies where I will have the honor of formally welcoming everyone to ‘Leaders in Action II: Discover your potential’… can’t wait!!Angela Dawson,
